Mysterious obscure band from Australia.
You put some Blackened Death, Doom, some electro here and there, vocals straight from an asylum in a fucked up blender. Et voilà, Ploughshare.
Weird shit. Favorite track: In Offal, Salvation.

Mohemian Australia’s Black Metal scene has been blooming for a while, just to mention Altar Defecation or Wardaemonic as prolific examples here. Ploughshare are definitely rooted in BM theirselves, but their style is quite hard to pin down. You will find influences from a number of genres such as Sludge, Thrash and even Electronica. Standout album from an extremely talented band. If you are looking for something off the general trades, look no further. Favorite track: The Urinary Chalice Held Aloft.

Noob Heavy Easily one of my most cherished cassettes, the sludge on this blurs the line between genres, it's an incredible and unique kind of blackened bullshit. Australia has an incredible underground. Favorite track: The Urinary Chalice Held Aloft.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
